Weekend Cashier · application 4 of 18

How would you handle an upset customer?

When a customer is upset I let them finish, repeat the problem back, then fix it. Last month a man was charged twice, so I refunded it and told my supervisor.

How it works

From job description to the calls you make.

One link out, one ranked shortlist back. You decide when to publish and how many people you call.

  1. 01 Paste the job. Get the questions.
  2. 02 One link for every channel.
  3. 03 Callout does the first read.
  4. 04 Finalise, then start calling.

01

Paste the job. Get the questions.

Callout drafts four to ten questions from the job you already wrote and checks them against fair-hiring topics. Edit them, add your own or pick from the bank, and tick any question that’s a must-have.

Want a Mirus reviewer too?

Have Mirus read it

+TT$1,500 a campaign · +US$220 outside Trinidad & Tobago

A Mirus reviewer reads every application, writes a note on each top candidate, adds interview questions for the vague answers and signs the shortlist within two working days of close (Monday to Friday, Trinidad & Tobago time, excluding T&T public holidays). Add it to any campaign while it’s open. Without it, nobody at Mirus opens your applications.

The usual way

You post an ad, the CVs pile up, and the reading lands on you at night.

A job-board ad

US$567 for one ad, two weeks

That’s CaribbeanJobs’ own price list in October 2026 (about TT$3,800). Your vacancy gets seen. The applications that come in are yours to sort.

A Callout campaign

US$180 for 30 days, or TT$1,200 in Trinidad & Tobago

Everyone answers the same questions. Callout grades the answers and proposes your shortlist. You finalise it and the call sheet is ready.

Plans

Pay per campaign.

Prices are in TT$ for businesses in Trinidad & Tobago and in US$ outside Trinidad & Tobago. Pay by bank transfer and build your campaign while it clears; it goes live once the payment is confirmed. Every campaign runs 30 days or until 150 applicants, whichever comes first.

Questions

What employers ask.

More on data: privacy & your data. Something else? Send us a note.

Who reads my applicants?

Callout does the first read: every written answer is graded against fixed standards, must-have questions are checked, and you see the applicant’s own words behind each score. A person on your team finalises the shortlist and can change any score. Nobody at Mirus opens your applications unless you add “Have Mirus read it”.

What do the flags mean?

A flag marks something to check: an answer copied from your example, an answer with nothing in it, or a must-have that wasn’t met. Flagged applicants stay in the list. Nobody is rejected on a flag.

Can Mirus do the reading and sign the shortlist for us?

Yes, with the “Have Mirus read it” add-on: TT$1,500 a campaign in Trinidad & Tobago, US$220 elsewhere. A Mirus reviewer reads every application, writes a note on each top candidate, adds interview questions for the vague answers and signs the shortlist within two working days of close (Monday to Friday, Trinidad & Tobago time, excluding T&T public holidays).

I’m hiring outside Trinidad & Tobago. Does it work?

Yes. Tell us where your business is when you sign up and your prices are in US dollars. Each job carries its own island: the job board can be filtered by island, and applicants see the closing time in that island’s time. Payment is by bank transfer for now; your order screen shows the details.

What do my candidates need to apply?

A phone and about three minutes. No account and no app; the CV is optional and comes last. A photo of a printed CV counts, and anyone without a CV to hand gets a reference code to send it on WhatsApp later.

How quickly can my job go live?

For the first 10 employers, the first campaign is free: sign up, build it and publish. A person at Mirus checks a new business’s first job, usually within a few hours on weekdays, and you get an email when it’s live. After that, pick a plan and sign up. Your order screen shows the amount, a reference and the bank details. Build the whole campaign while the transfer clears; you can publish as soon as we confirm the payment.

What do I have at the end?

A shortlist of the people you’ll call (Callout suggests five; you can pick one to ten), finalised by a named person on your team. Plus one PDF to print: a call sheet, then a page per person with their best and thinnest answers and what to ask. And a spreadsheet of everyone who applied. The files are yours.

Will the applicants I don’t pick hear back?

Yes, unless you switch it off. 48 hours after you finalise and the job has closed, applicants you didn’t pick who gave an email get a short, polite note in your company’s name. Anyone you’re interviewing or have hired never gets it. People who applied with a phone number only don’t get a note.

We already advertise on a job board. Is this instead?

It can sit alongside. Put your Callout link in your ad and on your poster, and everyone who applies answers the same questions and lands in the same ranked list.

What happens to the applications afterwards?

They’re deleted 90 days after your campaign closes, automatically, or straight away if you delete a closed campaign yourself. Applicants consent on a form that names your business as the holder of their data and Mirus as the processor.

I’m hiring for several roles. What fits?

Monthly: up to 3 campaigns live at once, each for 30 days or 150 applicants, and a new one can start as another ends. One role at a time is the Single campaign at TT$1,200 (US$180 outside Trinidad & Tobago).

Looking for work?

Apply from your phone in about three minutes. It’s free, there’s no account, and the CV is optional. Every job is checked for scam wording before it goes live, and every job page has a Report this job link. Your answers are deleted 90 days after the job closes.
